About the event
Want to be the best you can be at public speaking? Effective public speaking skills create many opportunities. This interactive workshop gives kids the opportunity to learn, practice and demonstrate powerful speaking techniques in simulated pre and post-game interviews. The interviews are recorded where students can assess their delivery and also receive feedback from other participants and the facilitator.
At the end of this workshop students will learn to:
- Engage with audience
- Think positive and cope with nerves
- Use voice volume, pitch, rate and quality to reflect and add meaning and interest to your message.
- Use stance, movement, gestures, facial expressions and eye contact to express your message and its purpose.
